I would recommend it to someone who is looking for and effortless and affordable concealer that’s widely available but doesn’t need tons of coverage.Delivers breathable, buildable coverage evens out skin tone and conceals blemishes formulated with a translucent base for a natural look lightweight pigments allow your skin to shine through non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested, opthalmolohist-tested, fragrance-free It works for my needs and is a nice concealer but no, I will not repurchase. ![]() ![]() It’s so painfully meh that I’m not even sure what to write about it. And even though the oxidation is quite awful it does not look that bad unless you really layer this, I tend to swatch heavily for demonstration purposes but in real life it’s not as bad (unless you tend to use a lot of product)įinal thoughts and will I repurchase: Fit Me concealer is not terribly bad but also not a product that will blow your socks off. Other: It has no flashback an photographs nicely and for other people sensitive to smells I’m glad to inform that even though this does have a scent I’ve never even noticed it until I actually stuck my nose in the tube while writing this. I have also tried this on blemishes but wouldn’t recommend, it doesn’t cover them and doesn’t stay put (for spot concealing I like Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage). I do admit on most days I combine this with Nyx undereye corrector ( Review here!) because that way I get a bit more coverage. But when you have your perfect amount and setting game figured out it blends out really beautifully with fingers or brush and stays on the whole day. It absolutely needs to be set with powder and if you put too much on it looks cakey and will emphasize fine lines and at the end of the day look even kind of crapey. And it does okey, I mean I do use this nearly every day. How it performs: I use this concealer mostly in daytime makeup covering redness around my nose and darkness under my eyes. They both have light-medium pigmentation and they definitely won’t cover everything but still enough for daytime use. Fair is pink toned and quite a bit lighter and starts out as NW10-15 but quickly oxidizes to NW15-20. ![]() I think it matches around NC25 after oxidizing. Light has warm undertones, but despite the name not especially light. Left to right: #10 Light after and before oxidizing, #15 Fair after and before oxidizingĬolor and pigmentation: I own this in two shades: light #10 and fair #15. And that was my appeal to it, besides the shade range that appeared to have a very light shade too. I do think the price on this product varies a bit depending on the country or website you’re purchasing from but I think we can still agree it’s a pretty affordable product anyway. But here’s more about this product in-depth: Maybelline Fit Me is one of those products that perform okey but don’t do anything spectacular in my opinion but what I’ve gathered form other reviews I’ve seen some people think I’m wrong. But as a reader I know that all kinds of opinions are interesting and the point of reading a review anyway is to try to figure out if you will like the product whether or not the author did. I’m finally starting to realize why so many reviews end up being either ‘hate’ or ‘love’ type of posts because writing about a product that’s just ‘meh’ is kind of uninspiring.
